Red Agency Booms In Growth Thanks To Graymedia Merger

PR company Red Agency has seen significant growth in Brisbane since announcing its merger with local Queensland agency Graymedia with some impressive client wins and a subsequent increase in staff.

Red Agency flagged its intention to expand operations in Brisbane in November last year recognising the potential for growth in Queensland and the opportunity to further develop its footprint.

Now less than a year after the merger with Graymedia, the strategy is paying dividend with the agency winning a number of new clients, including Sunny Queen Australia, Australian Skin Clinics, the National Council for Women in Construction Qld/NT (NAWIC), Youth Insearch, Hummingbird House, Tanium and Tech Specialist to name just a few.

“We are very pleased to be working with these significant brands,” said principal at Red Agency Brisbane, Yasmine Gray. “These organisations have exciting plans for the future and our talented team in Brisbane will be supporting them on a national scale providing a range of communications services.”

The former director of Graymedia said that the growth in clients has required the agency to take on new staff in the Brisbane office and there are plans to expand further in the coming months. She added: “We have come together exceptionally well as a team, have been producing some great work and are now starting to reap the rewards. The future is looking very positive for us in Brisbane and I hope to be hiring again in the very near future.”

Red Agency nearly doubled its size and client base in Brisbane as a result of the merger and boasts a client list that includes Jetts gyms, Discount Drug Stores and the Australian Taxi Industry Association.

General manager of Red Agency, Aaron Crowther said there are now plans to focus on expanding specialist areas in Brisbane such as technology, health and franchise.

“Our capabilities in Brisbane have been enhanced by the merger and the market is responding to this coupling of skills. Brisbane is our youngest office but is now certainly coming of age and we have great plans for the future.”

Recent campaigns run by Red Agency Brisbane for new client Sunny Queen include the launch of the first ever augmented reality collectors cards, available now in cartons in supermarkets, and its new business venture, Sunny Queen Meal Solutions, which provides pre-prepared egg meals for the catering industry.

“The work we are doing is both creative and innovative,” said Gray. “We understand the important part we play in helping these businesses reach their goals by delivering consistent and effective communications campaigns. It’s a privilege to work with such brands and we have some exciting plans ahead.”
