Reality TV Star Falls Down Trap Door At BBC Radio 1’s Teen Awards

In another hilarious example of when live TV doesn’t go to plan, a UK reality telly personality has embarrassingly fallen down a hole onstage after announcing a winner at BBC Radio 1’s Teen Awards.

Gemma Collins, known for starring in British reality show The Only Way Is Essex, was presenting the award for Best TV Show, when the winners suddenly appeared to accept the trophy next to her via a trap door onstage.

However, Collins appeared blissfully unaware of the trap door, accidentally taking a tumble down the hole while turning around to present the award.

To Collins’ credit, she took the fall in her stride, telling the awards host afterwards that she was having “the best time of my life” and notifying her Twitter followers that she was alive and well.

Collins even went so far as to offer her Twitter followers another angle of her fall.
