PwC Exec Kenta Shimizu Joins OOH Tech Platform Seedooh
Seedooh, the independent technology platform providing standardised reporting in the out-of-home industry, has hired former PwC executive Kenta Shimizu to oversee Seedooh’s data reporting alongside its new collaboration with the consultancy firm.
Last month, Seedooh announced its alignment with PwC Australia to provide a new standard in independently assured reporting for OOH advertising campaigns in both digital and classic formats.
Shimizu (pictured above, centre) joins Seedooh in the newly created role of director of confidence and commercial partnerships. He previously worked across PwC’s global network for more than seven years, with a focus on providing globally recognised trust and transparency solutions.
Prior to that, Shimizu spent three years in New York’s technology sector and Tokyo.
Launched in July 2017, the Seedooh platform provides real and near-time delivery data for OOH campaigns in both digital and traditional formats and is a worldwide first of its kind.
The business is managed by CEO Tom Richter (pictured above, right) and director of strategic partnerships Joe Copley (pictured above, left).
Seedooh has been adopted by Australia’s largest OOH media owner, oOh!media, and is now in the process of connecting with the other major OOH businesses in Australia.
The company is committed to helping develop a new industry standard in delivery reporting and is also scaling into other highly-developed international OOH markets.
Richter said Shimizu brings a high level of subject matter expertise in the area of global standards in non-financial data assurance to Seedooh.
“As we continue the expansion of our relationships with media owners, agencies and advertisers, this appointment will enable Seedooh to share this critical value with our partners and customers on both sides of the OOH industry, in all markets, ensuring complete confidence in the platform,” he said.
