PRIA Wants You To Have your Say On Diversity In The Workplace

The Public Relations Institute of Australia (PRIA) is seeking the views of everyone in Australia working in Public Relations and Communications to contribute to an industry policy in diversity and inclusion.

A short online survey enquires about gender, age, race, disability and sexuality with the aim of getting get an accurate picture of the current status and future needs around diversity in the workplace.

The survey responses will inform the drafting of the PRIA’s Diversity Policy, along with the support and references to a number of ‘best practice’ policies to ensure that the industry has a strong blueprint for advocating for diversity in their workplaces.

By completing the survey by the deadline of Friday 29 July, participants will go in a draw to win one full pass to the PRIA National Conference up to the value of $2,000! The National Conference is being held in Sydney on 14 & 15 November 2016. A full pass includes the welcome drinks, two full days conference with an incredible line up of speakers and closing drinks (not including airfares, accommodation or GTA dinner).

The diversity survey is being conducted on behalf of PRIA by the Online Research Unit (Oru), the largest ‘research-only’ consumer and business panels in Australia. The ORU team are located in Australia and have a proven track record with a variety of clients including PR agencies, large corporates and Government departments.
