Pac Mags Appoints Sales Leadership Team

Pacific today announced the appointment of two key members of its sales and corporate leadership team, with Nicole Bence (below) named commercial director and Fran Vavallo (main photo) as sales director, Victoria.

Gereurd Roberts, CEO, Pacific said: “Over the past 18 months, Nicole has played an instrument role in re-shaping our go to market strategy, accelerating our digital sales growth and delivering audience-led solutions that help Pacific’s clients better understand the effectiveness of their spend.

“Nicole’s passion for strategy, data and insights is well known and we look forward to taking to market a pipeline of new initiatives including a series of signature research events, new data partnerships and a portfolio of new segmentation solutions.”

Bence was previously commercial strategy and solutions director at Pacific, having joined the company from Nova as digital commercial Director. Previously she has held a range of senior sales roles at NewsLifeMedia.

Bence said of her appointemnt: “Pacific is a business in growth with a portfolio of thriving digital communities and the country’s biggest network of women’s brands. We are innovating both our advertising products and what we bring to clients, as we supercharge our sales approach to deliver more meaningful value than ever before for our key commercial partners.

“Fran’s leadership, strong digital experience and senior relationships in the Melbourne market are invaluable and a real win. I look forward to joining forces with her as we continue to reimagine the Pacific sales offering. We are constantly challenging ourselves to develop new and bespoke value propositions to clients and the next 12 months will be about accelerating those capabilities.”

Most recently Vavallo was group head Victoria at location data technology platform Blis having previously worked at Mamamia as Victorian sales director.

Vavallo added: “I am excited to be joining the highly talented team at Pacific during a period of unprecedented growth in key audiences. The company has a great story to tell and big plans for the future – and I can’t wait to help take this team forward.”
