OMD Tops RECMA Ratings

OMD Australia has taken the top spot as Australia’s number one media agency in size, according to RECMA’s overall activity volume rankings report released earlier this week.

Additionally, RECMA’s qualitative report, which measures agencies across new business wins, momentum, vitality and structure, shows OMD Australia continues to be positioned as the top Australian agency within the dominant profile range.

The agency also holds the number one qualitative position in comparison to all OMD agencies globally, plus the number two position across all agencies worldwide.

The results are underpinned by an incredible year of sustained growth and new business wins.

In 2018, OMD Australia welcomed over 20 new clients into the fold and has continued new business momentum in 2019 with the more recent wins of Suncorp, Super Retail Group, Asahi Beverages and Sealy Posturepedic.

OMD Australia, said Aimee Buchanan said: “We are thrilled to hold the number one RECMA position not only in terms of size, but also qualitative scores.

“It’s been an incredible couple of years of sustained growth and we look forward to continuing our momentum into the future.

“Whilst growth is important, I am especially proud that as a team this hasn’t been at the expense of ongoing focus on our people.”

RECMA is the only independent company to publish a wide range of media agency notation reports on a global scale.

Data is collated from more than 900 media agencies in 70 countries to provide strategic intelligence to help the top 500 global advertisers in their decision-making and agency sourcing.
