OMD Brisbane Appointed As Media Agency For Super Retail Group

OMD has today announced their appointment as media agency to Super Retail Group.

Super Retail Group Limited is home to iconic brands such as Supercheap Auto, BCF, Rebel and Macpac.

OMD Brisbane will be responsible for all media strategy, planning and buying across the group, with the leadership team based on the ground locally.

OMD will also have teams in Sydney and Christchurch to service Rebel Sport and Macpac respectively.

OMD Australia CEO, Aimee Buchanan said: “We are delighted to be working with the Super Retail Group team and their leading brands.

“We look forward to partnering with them to help drive growth across their portfolio within the complex and ever-changing retail landscape.”

The win represents a continued focus on building and strengthening OMD Queensland’s local offering.

This is most evident with the recent hires of Kasey Doran, head of strategy & product and James Lucas, group trading director.

OMD group managing director, Kenny Stewart added: “Super Retail Group is a premier account in Queensland, and we are thrilled to welcome them into the OMD family.

“Their suite of much-loved brands have been a part of Aussie lives for decades and we look forward to a long and prosperous partnership.”

Welcoming Super Retail Group into OMD Brisbane caps off a successful six months across all offices following the client wins of Suncorp in Sydney and Asahi Beverages in Melbourne.
