Ogilvy Australia CEO On The Ogilvy PR Global Board

Ogilvy Public Relations (Ogilvy PR) today announced the formation of its new board, with Australian CEO Kieran Moore named as one of the global board members.

The board has two main roles: to advise the CEO and executive committee and to lead in the development of strategies, which are critical to growth, including talent, innovation, and digital. The board will report to Christopher Graves, global chair, Ogilvy PR.

Stuart Smith, Global CEO, Ogilvy PR, announced the appointments: “Chris is one of our industry’s best disruptive thinkers. I know that, under his leadership, the board will have a tangible and positive impact on our strategy. The Board brings together people from a wide variety of backgrounds, demographics and responsibilities. Leveraging a diverse range of skills and talent will generate real value for our people, our clients and our business.”

PR board Chairman, Chris Graves, said, “These appointments are intended for a two-year term, with the exception of the ‘Firebrands,’ who rotate annually. The intention is to keep the board fresh, adding new thinking every year. The opportunity for Ogilvy PR – and for the industry as a whole – is to re-define the role of public relations in the digital marketplace. I’m confident that the extraordinarily talented individuals that we have appointed to the PR board will help us to do just that.

“As David Ogilvy said: ‘Look for people who will aim for the remarkable.’ I know this remarkably creative board will spark fresh collisions of ideas from all over, and new ways to navigate content, social, digital and behavioural sciences to earn influence on behalf of our clients.”
