Artificial intelligence and computer vision company GumGum has announced a series of new deals with publishers which has boosted its Australian reach to 12 million.

GumGum recently added Nine Entertainment, SBS and Vice to its growing portfolio of Australian publishers, more than doubling its network since launching in Australia less than two years ago.

Nine Entertainment, SBS and Vice join Bauer Media, Interplay Media, Mamamia, Evolve, IDG, Heath, Moshtix, Realestate.com.au, IBTimes and Nova 96.9 in GumGum’s publisher network.

Jon Stubley (pictured above), managing director of GumGum in Australia and New Zealand, said: “We continue to expand our Australian publishing network as more and more publishers realise the advantage of Gum Gum’s patented in-image and in-screen advertising solution.

“It’s a win-win for publishers and brand advertisers. Gum Gum’s technology unlocks previously unused digital real estate, whilst brands are seeing the results its high-quality, non-intrusive and inherently viewable ads produce.”

GumGum uses computer vision technology to allow advertisers to contextually place creative within relevant images to deliver a high-impact advertising solution.
