New Zealand Owned Digital Ad Network Scroll Media Opens Australian Office

Founded by experienced digital media professional Jane Ormsby (featured image), Scroll Media represents a consortium of digital publishers advertising across sponsored content, data, programmatic and native.

Sam Christie (pictured below) has recently been appointed general manager of Australia to run the business.

Christie comes into the business bringing a wealth of experience from Multi-Channel Network, Macquarie Media, Nova Entertainment & Australian Traffic Network.

Working across both direct and agency portfolio’s he has identified that there is a real growth opportunity in the Australian media landscape for Digital Publishers.

Christie believes the larger digital publishers  are eating up a lot of the advertising revenue.

Scroll Media is on a mission to help  digital publishers gain access to agency spends through combining their offering at scale with automated smarts.

Currently Scroll Media has over 16 publishers in Australia with a combined reach of over  4 million unique audience monthly and a further 20 publishers in New Zealand.

Scroll was recently runner up to Digital Start Up of the Year and Display Sales Excellence award at NZ IAB Awards.

The portfolio includes AccuWeather.com, the worldwide leading weather platform which offers weather triggered targeting.

Other sites in the network include RugbyPass, ITPro, Pricespy and edreams.

Currently Scroll are signing up a number of publishers covering a wide variety of topics including men’s & women’s interests, travel, finance, sports and more.
