New Show In UK Gets Strangers Undressed And In Bed Together To “Accelerate Intimacy”

Forget Dating in the Dark, The Bachelor, Married at First Sight and The Farmer Wants A Wife. There’s a new show that skips all these steps and gets strangers straight in the sack.

The UK has introduced a brand new dating show where strangers meet, shake hands, and take each other’s clothes off, before hopping into bed, in possibly the most bizarre first date they’re likely to experience.

The show, titled Undressed, originated in Italy but was such a hit that TLC has nabbed it for a UK adaptation.

For 30-minutes, a big TV screen will light up with questions for them each to answer, and to help the conversation along while they awkwardly try not to check each other out.

They then press a button deciding ‘Yes’ or ‘No’ as to whether they want to stay in bed with each other.

If it sounds a bit odd, it’s because it is. Here’s a couple from the Italian version having a great time together.

Producers Fizz told The Daily Mail that getting contestants straight into their knickers helps to “accelerate intimacy” and explores “the accepted rules of attraction”. It has been described as a “brave and beautiful new dating concept”.

“Behind the provocative headline, at its heart are funny, adorable and sometimes awkward connections. TLC’s mission is to give the nation a boost – this show promises to do just that.”
