Monday TV Wrap: MKR On The Rise, As Seven & Nine Have Rare Dead Heat

My Kitchen Rules enjoyed its best night of the 2019 series, posting 841,000 viewers last night according to overnight OzTAM numbers.

However, it wasn’t enough to knock-off rival Married At First Sight that carried on its winning ways, posting 1.117 million and was the most watched show of the night.

Meanwhile, 10’s I’m A Celebrity…Get Me Out Of Here took a bit of a beating, it managed only 565,000.

For the Super Bowl, some 205,000 tuned in to 7Mate to watch the Patriots beat the Rams. Although that doesn’t include people who watched the game in pubs or clubs.

When it came to overall audience share, both Seven and Nine had to settle with 30.1 per cent each. The ABC posted 18 per cent, 10 was fourth with 15.9 per cent and SBS had 5.8 per cent.

Other standouts for Nine included: 6pm news (905,000), ACA (808,000), Murder, Lies & Alibis (617,000) and Hot Seat (454,000).

Over at Seven, its best was its 6pm news (1.061 million), followed by Today Tonight (1.033 million), The Chase (562,000) and Billy Connolly: The Ultimate World Tour (463,000).

Best for 10 – I’m A Celeb aside – was The Project (460,000), 10 News First (423,000) and Murphy Brown (312,000).

The ABC’s night ran thus: 7pm news (772,000), 7.30 (651,000), Back Roads (575,000), Four Corners (561,000), Media Watch (520,000) and Q&A (384,000).

SBS’s best was 24 Hours In Emergency that pulled 152,000.
