Monday TV Wrap: Karl’s ‘This Time Last Year’ Sheds 85,000 Viewers

Karl Stefanovic’s horror 12 months continues with his This Time Last Year posting 595,000 viewers last night, down 85,000 on last week’s debut.

The show’s halved its audience in two years – down from the 1.28 million it pulled in 2017.

The Block did the business for Nine last night pulling 893,000 viewers according to OzTAM metro numbers and handing the broadcaster the narrowest of Monday night wins.

Nine snuck home with 27.7 per cent audience share (all channels). Seven wasn’t far behind with a neat 27. 10 did 20.6 per cent, the ABC had 17.7 per cent and SBS had seven per cent.

In the other entertainment shows, Survivor had 741,000, Are You Paying Attention? did 736,000 and Seven’s Australia’s Got Talent pulled 641,000.

Seven’s 6pm news was the most watched show of the night with 1.065 million.

Interestingly, ACA (913,000) beat Nine’s 6pm news (888,000).

In the battle for breakfast, Sunrise (283,000) ruled Today (201,000).

Other standouts for 10 included The Project (477,000) and 10 News First (396,000).

The ABC’s evening ran this way: 7pm news (668,000), Four Corners (653,000), Media Watch (619,000), 7.30 (571,000), Australian Story (568,000) and Q&A (327,000).

SBS’s best was Royals At War that managed 180,000.
