Monday TV Wrap: Dance Boss Simply Can’t Find Its Ratings Groove

Seven’s Dance Boss continues to struggle to find an audience, pulling a disappointing 479,000 viewers last night and fast becoming a headache for network chiefs.

On the back of the disappointing numbers and the ever reliable The Bock (961,000), Nine won Monday night with 28.7 per cent of the audience eyeballs. Seven had to settle for second with 24.8 per cent, Ten clung on to third with 20 per cent, the ABC narrowly behind with 19.4 per cent and SBS posted 7.1 per cent.

On the back of The Block, Nine’s 6pm news pulled 992,000, ACA had 880,000, Doctor Doctor pulled 671,000 and Hot Seat managed 527,000.

Over at Seven, its 6pm news bulletin was the most watched show of the night with 1.1 million. The Chase (680,000), Home And Away (664,000) and Ramsay’s 24 Hours to Hell and Back (314,000) were its other highlights.

Ten’s best was Have You Been Paying Attention? with a respectable 759,000. Australian Survivor enjoyed 651,000, however it appears to be going neither north nor south with its numbers. The Project bounced back from its Sunday night pummelling with 575,000.

The ABC’s Monday night of news and current affairs went thus: 7pm news bulletin (785,000), Four Corners (680,000), Australian Story (664,000), 7:30 (653,000), Media Watch (623,000), Q&A (441,000) and Think Tank (248,000).

Over at SBS, its best was Inside Windsor Castle that managed a royal 331,000 Queen fans.
