Monday TV Wrap: 10’s Dancing With The Stars Reboot Gets A “7” From Audiences

Network 10’s reboot of Dancing With The Stars – which B&T had the pleasure to attend last night – showed that MAFS and MKR won’t have it all their own way, debuting to a respectable 621,000 according to OzTAM metro numbers.

That said, MAFS (1.2 million) didn’t appear affected by the new competitor, while MKR took a hit, managing 709,000 last night.

The other debutant for the night, Nine’s Bad Mothers, pulled 691,000.

Nine won the night with 31.7 per cent audience share, Seven took home 27 per cent, 10 had 18.4 per cent, the ABC 17.9 per cent and SBS a disappointing 4.9 per cent.

Other highlights for 10 were The Project with 439,000 and 10 News First with 378,000.

Nine did well with its 6pm news (928,000), ACA (783,000) and Hot Seat (472,000).

Seven’s standouts were its 6pm news (1.013 million), the returning Home And Away (620,000) and The Chase (547,000).

The ABC’s night ran thus: 7pm news (727,000), Australian Story (648,000), 7.30 (632,000), Four Corners (568,000), Media Watch (568,000) and Q&A (370,000).

Over at the SBS, its best was a repeat of The Queen’s Mother In Law, pulling 160,000.
