While 30 Under 30 has come and gone for another year, we’re continuing to celebrate the best and brightest in the industry by doing a roundup of all our talented winners in 2019.

Last week, we introduced our PR winners.

Today, we’re introducing three smart individuals who nabbed a coveted B&T 30 Under 30 Award for their work as project managers.

Stay tuned for the stories of the rest of our winners, which we’ll be rolling out for the rest of the week.

You can also see all the winners here and photos from the night here.

Ayesha Kiely – Media Com

Hailing from the UK, Ayesha began her career in social media, managing several fashion brands. A few years after graduating, she moved to Australia and instantly knew our sunny shores was where she wanted to build her career. Joining MediaCom’s content team as a social executive three years ago, Ayesha quickly proved her strategic ability and was promoted to content manager within a year.

Recently, she led a campaign for Queensland health across three WPP agencies to deliver ground-breaking experiential content.

She received global PR coverage for a world first production optimisation deal for a major FMCG client, planned and delivered photoshoots in under 24 hours – one for Reebok and one for IWC -and outperformed 600 participants across APAC to make it through to the top five of Twitter’s #TweetToTheTop.

She also planned and executed MediaCom ANZ’s ‘Behaviours Day’ – a two-day annual conference for 300 staff where the team developed its vision, values, objectives and goals, as well as managing partnerships between P&O Cruises, Channel 7, Biozet Attack and Tough Mudder; integrating the brand into each property and ensuring that all values remained consistent throughout execution.

Brittany Stella – VICE Media

After studying professional communication at RMIT, Brittany was ecstatic to start an internship at VICE (after listing her secret skill as being good at limbo). Following her internship, Stella was selected to study in South Korea and finish her degree.

At 22, VICE invited her back with a full-time role as its first project coordinator. Within three months, Stella was the lead project manager for MLA, YouTube and IBM, and by the end of that year had delivered three blow-out Bacardi parties for over 2000 guests nationally.

Stella has since been promoted to account manager and managed over 50 clients, from fashion editorial for Nike and Adidas, to a British pub tour with VisitBritain. Brittany has managed editorial for NAB and run activations for Schweppes, as well as more obscure projects like building a Grow Tent (growing everything but weed) inside VICE HQ.

Assiduous, empathetic, diligent, collaborative, quick-witted (and good at limbo), Brittany continues to use her skills and experience to further her career in the project management industry.

Nic Kelly – Southern Cross Austereo

Though one of our youngest 30 Under 30 winners, Nic isn’t new to the industry. In fact, he started his career in radio at just 13, co-founding his music blog Project U as a radio show in 2010. Two years later, he started working in commercial radio for SCA Gosford, which required a signed letter from his Mum to get him in the door each weekend.

Since then, Kelly’s been nominated for an Australian Commercial Radio Award for best music presenter, with credits co-hosting national Hit Network shows to 42 markets, hosting nights, weekends and workday shows at 2DayFM and KIIS 106.5 Sydney.

Currently, Kelly’s working as the 9am-12pm host and operations manager for Sea FM, and weekends for Hit107 Adelaide & Hit105 Brisbane.

In addition to radio, in mid-2015 he joined start-up media company Marquee Studios as executive producer and presenter of AMPLIFY, a world-first youth video content brand launched in partnership with Twitter. In 2016, Kelly was an Australian juror for Eurovision before launching his own record label – Night High Records – in collaboration with EMI Music Australia.
