Tom Robinson Appointed MediaCom’s Head Of Content Strategy

MediaCom has announced the appointment of Tom Robinson, currently SEO Director, as head of content strategy and distribution.

With over seven years of industry experience, Robinson has been successful in developing MediaCom’s SEO team since his tenure with the ‘Content & Connections Agency’ began in November 2011. His wide array of achievements have included the effective merge of the SEO and Social teams within MediaCom’s specialist division, MediaCom Beyond Advertising (MBA), to form one working group.

Within his new remit, Robinson will be responsible for launching a combined content distribution team nationally which will be focused on a collective approach to the distribution of content across owned and earned media. Reporting directly to Gemma Hunter, executive creative director and head of MBA, Robinson will focus on the delivery of content strategies and will also oversee distribution across branded websites, blogs, VoD platforms and social media.

In alignment with MediaCom’s positioning as the ‘Content & Connections Agency’, Robinson will lead content strategy and distribution ensuring delivery of not just individual channel efficiencies, but also a connected communications system by ensuring appropriate content distribution planning and systems are in place across MediaCom Australia offices.
