MediaCom Brisbane Appointed Gold Coast Commonwealth Games’ Media Agency

MediaCom Brisbane has been appointed the media agency for the Gold Coast 2018 Commonwealth Games (GC2018).

The largest sporting event to take place in Australia this decade, the 21st Commonwealth Games commences on April 4th, 2018 in Queensland’s Gold Coast.

MediaCom’s appointment will see The Content & Connections Agency deliver strategic campaigns that will drive spectator participation and heighten public awareness of both the Games and the world class athletes who will be competing.

Katherine Williams, MediaCom Brisbane’s managing director, said, “To be signed on as an official supplier for the Gold Coast 2018 Commonwealth Games is a tremendous honour. It’s such an exciting time for Queensland to showcase home-grown talent and welcome the Commonwealth’s best athletes to compete on the world stage on the Gold Coast. We’re really looking forward to working with the GC2018 team to make this the greatest Games ever!”.

GOLDOC chairman Peter Beattie AC welcomed MediaCom to the GC2018 Sponsorship Family.
