McCann Sydney Adds Microsoft To Client Base

McCann Sydney has added three new clients to its growing client base, with Microsoft leading the charge.

The new business streak will see McCann Sydney join the global IPG community servicing Microsoft Australia’s global advertising needs across Windows 10, Surface and Xbox. The move sees the work transfer from the Singapore hub to the Sydney office, with more projects to be delivered in coming months.

McCann Sydney has also partnered with Australia’s most progressive cold-pressed juice manufacturer, Botanica, to help deliver a future growth platform for health-conscious juice lovers of Australia.

Botanica is best known for its nutrient-rich “green juice” and is available through Harris Farm Markets.

The wins follow the recent appointment of McCann Sydney to the Charles Sturt University account following a competitive pitch. With the first CSU campaign breaking to market this week, the country’s leading university for online studies is using the full range of services offered by McCann, including strategy, creative, in-house channel planning and media buying, digital and CRM.

The new business wins come in a successful 12 months for McCann Sydney, which has grown its media planning and buying offering to generate 15 per cent of the agency’s revenue.

McCann Sydney managing director Adam Lee (pictured below) said: “It’s exciting times at McCann with existing clients experiencing growth and new clients coming on board. We are particularly proud to be welcoming great brands such as Microsoft and Botanica into the McCann family, and we look forward to doing great work with them that can make a difference.

“We are also proud of our early work on Charles Sturt University, which is another great example of clients choosing to use McCann for all their core communications deliverables, including media.”
