Athletes and fun-runners can be a fundraising force – but until now there has not been a fundraising site specifically for the triathlete community.

TriCharity founder, Geoff Main, recognised this gap and engaged Made with Ed to create TriCharity.com.

“TriCharity provides networking tools to help athletes raise funds in the lead-up to multi-sport and triathlon events,” Main said.

Main has competed in multi-sport events for over ten years, raising more than $200,000 for a range of charities.

Through TriCharity.com, Main wanted to share his experience to unlock the fundraising potential of the highly disciplined and motivated triathlete community.

“Everyone trains so hard for the event they can either forget to put that same effort into fundraising or simply don’t know how,” said Main.

“TriCharity equips multi-sporters with the right tools to see fundraising as just another challenge to overcome – another victory to seize.”

“Tricharity is bang on the type of innovative, cause-related project we love,” Made with Ed strategy director David Bathur said.

“Made with Ed is digital agency with a 50-50 model – half our clients are not-for-profit, the other half are corporate. But all our clients come to us to create movements that harness community passions.”

“TriCharity.com ignites the close-knit multi-sport community using our FunRaisin.com.au platform,” said Scott Dilley, Made with Ed’s Technical Director and peer-to-peer specialist.

“It’s quite different to other peer-to-peer fundraising platforms as it’s completely customisable for clients’ event needs. This is essential for sites like TriCharity.com that requires a wide array of event options.”
