Landor Sydne Promotes Design Directors To Service Growing Client List

Brand design Landor Sydney has named three new design directors as a result of recent growth and a number of new business wins.

Looking from within his own Sydney team, Landor’s managing director Dominic Walsh wanted to promote internally to ensure smooth client and team transition as well as reward the experience and impressive work of Hayley Levy, Jen Doran and Matt Morgan, with the three named as design directors.

“Following another record year we are investing in our creative leadership for the long term. Our focus on innovations requires more agile ways of working,” said Walsh

“We have brought together a team of the most innovative and creative designers in the branding business. Together Hayley, Jen and Matt will bring a deep knowledge of brand, strategy and innovation to their work to help deliver inspiring brand campaigns for our clients in 2015 and beyond,” said Staniford.

Hayley Levy has been with Landor for 11 years, working on clients such as Procter & Gamble (key brands including Olay, Head & Shoulders and Pantene), Phillip Morris, Dairy Farmers, Nestlé, PepsiCo and Brown Brothers Wines. With experience in local, regional and international markets, Levy focuses her knowledge on brand, strategy, innovation, packaging and the in-store environment across her key accounts.

Jen Doran has led successful FMCG branding campaigns for Nestlé Purina, Danone and Arnott’s Australia, after gaining valuable experience with UK agency JKR before joining Landor in 2013. Doran succeeds in Landor not only as a branding expert but also as a passionate advocate for mentoring young creatives, becoming a leader in Landor’s internship initiative Shine.

Matt Morgan has vast international experience in a variety of disciplines, earning him international acclaim including being shortlisted for a Cannes Lion, nominated for numerous AGDA, as well as being elected onto the AGDA NSW council. Beginning his career in design consultancy in the UK, Morgan joined Landor in 2010, helping lead brand development for AMP, AYO and Beam Suntory, whilst working closely with Microsoft and AmCham to develop and drive new internal communications.

Hayley, Jen and Matt join Ben Chandler, design director and Cannes award winner who has been working with Landor Sydney for ten years.

Ben has worked on a broad range of both corporate and consumer brands across different disciplines including Cadbury Schweppes, Diageo, Foster’s, General Mills, George Weston Foods, Arnott’s Australia, Nestlé, and Telstra. While packaging is his specialty, Ben has experience in affecting all touch points of a brand, valuing a strategic approach to creativity and involvement in the broader thinking of a brand.
