Kogan.com surpasses Facebook landmark

Aussie online tech retailer Kogan.com has hit a Facebook landmark of half a million fans, giving it one of the nation’s biggest online retail communities.

The retailer’s Facebook community outweighs those of major retailers Harvey Norma, Dick Smith and Bing Lee.

CEO and founder Ruslan Kogan (pictured) believes building and nurturing the community had been vital to the success of Kogan.com as a business.

He said: “From early on, we realised the importance of building a community around our business and what we stand for – making the latest tech products more affordable for everyone.

“We have genuine conversations with our fans, listen to their every word, and most importantly, their suggestions directly influence the technology we make.”
