ISelect Marketing Director Geraldine Davys Departs After 15 Months

Health insurance comparison site iselect has announced the departure of its marketing director Geraldine Davys after 15 months in the job. Davy’s replacement is yet to be announced.

Davy’s joined the iSelect team in October 2013 when she was lured over from Sensis. Prior to that, Davys held marketing roles with Westpac, Accenture and Lend Lease. A spokesman for iSelect told B&T that Davy’s resigned her position to “pursue another career opportunity”.

As for Davy’s replacement the spokesperson said: “We are currently in market for a new marketing director and we are going through an external search and selection process for that.”

Davy’s resignation comes at a time of flux and competition in the comparison site market; however, the spokesperson said the business would be sticking to its existing marketing strategy.

“The company was very happy with Geraldine’s contribution and we wish her every success for the future,” he said. “We’re very pleased with the developments in the business over the past 12 months, things have been going very well since our new chief executive, Alex Stevens, came on board. Business is going very well.”
