Initiative Perth Names New Chief & General Manager

Initiative Australia has announced the appointment of Luke O’Sullivan as head of Initiative Perth and Judi van Omme as general manager of Initiative Perth.

O’Sullivan and van Omme (pictured above) replace Clive Bingwa, who is joining Nine Entertainment as MD and director of sales in Perth.

O’Sullivan is a Perth native and joined Initiative in November this year. He recently spent five years working in senior media agency positions in the UK, and is a former business director at Vizeum in London.

Van Omme has considered an Initiative “lifer”, having risen through the agency’s ranks in a 17-year career.

Initiative Australia CEO Melissa Fein said: “It’s great testament to the success and momentum of our Initiative WA business that we have talent of the calibre of Luke and Judi to take on the agency’s leadership.

“Luke has great passion and experience as a media strategist, client and team leader. Judi is a highly respected and experienced professional, and fully deserves her new role.”

O’Sullivan said: “It’s a great thrill to be leading Initiative Perth. There is a terrific team of people with great client and media relationships. I’m looking for to driving the momentum in 2018.”

Commenting on her appointment, van Omme said: “I am delighted with this promotion, and look forward to helping drive success for the agency and our clients into 2018.”
