Imagination Appoints Guy Munro To Lead Melbourne Growth

Global experience agency Imagination has further bolstered its senior ranks with experienced digital professional Guy Munro joining as business director, Melbourne.

Following a 10-year partner position at pure-play digital agency Autumn:01, Munro joins Imagination more recently from a director role at Whybin TBWA, bringing a wealth of market-tested experience in design and experiential strategy. With nearly 15 years’ experience working across digital strategy, production and project management, Guy’s appointment is the latest in a string of high-calibre additions to the Imagination team.

The appointment strengthens Imagination Australia’s award-winning creative expertise, building on the company’s track record for creating innovative and engaging experiences for some of the country’s biggest local and international brands including CBA, Telstra, and Ford.

Imagination’s Australian MD, Antony Gowthorp said the business is always looking ahead for new ideas and thinking. “Guy is an outstanding addition to our team and we’re delighted to have him on board. His track record of strategic acumen and campaign precision are a great match for Imagination.”

“Having the right talent delivering not just great experiences, but innovative ideas and strategy is essential to what Imagination does. Guy will form an essential part of our forward strategy and we’re delighted he’s on hand to shape Imagination’s ongoing success.”

Munro said Imagination’s upward trajectory and distinguished industry reputation is very exciting. “Joining an outstanding team to help grow an already formidable business is a brilliant opportunity, both personally and professionally. When creative and experiential excellence are already the precedent, discovering new opportunities and further elevating industry standards becomes an awesome challenge. I’m thrilled to be joining at such an exciting stage in Imagination’s growth vision.”
