IAB Australia Appoints New Director Of Regulatory Affairs

IAB Australia has announced the appointment of Kamani Krishnan as director of regulatory affairs.

With ten years’ experience in government relations, legal advice and policy expertise, Krishnan will take the lead on policy and regulatory issues facing the digital advertising industry.

Krishnan most recently held the position of in-house legal advice in the NSW Elections Legal team as well as being the senior policy adviser at the NSW Property Council of Australia. She has also worked with the ACCC to establish the mandatory Code of Conduct.

Vijay Solanki, CEO of IAB Australia commented: “Kamani has that unique combination of being grounded in law, adept with councils and a voracious passion for knowledge.  Her in-depth insights into policy construction will help support the future of the digital advertising industry. ”

Krishnan said: “In a time of rapid growth and evolution across the digital industry, I look forward to playing a role in supporting and collaborating with IAB members’ – advertisers, publishers, agencies and tech vendors – across a range of policy and regulatory issues.”
