Hit Network Launches Dedicated Hip-Hop & RnB Radio Station

Southern Cross Austereo’s Hit Network has unveiled its newest radio station, Urban Hits.

Broadcasting on digital radio, online at www.urbanhits.com.au and via The Hit Network app nationally, Urban Hits will be a 24-hour music station for Sydney, Melbourne, Brisbane and Perth.

Playing hip-hop and RnB tunes all day and night, Urban Hits will feature current hits by artists like Post Malone, Cardi B, Drake, The Weeknd, and Kanye West, and celebrate new releases by stars such as Beyonce and Jay-Z with ‘The Carters’ project and Nicki Minaj.

The Hit Network’s head of content, Gemma Fordham, said: “Given the amount of Urban Hits in the regular mainstream charts, we believe there’s an appetite from listeners for a dedicated Hip Hop and RnB station in metro Australia.

“With SCA giving advertisers an aggregated audience across all its Hit Network stations, there’s now another fresh face on the block to give even greater reach for our clients.”
