Heckler Promotes Aborah Buick To Head Of Production

Sydney-based post production house Heckler has announced the promotion of Aborah Buick (above, left) to Head of Production.

With over 15 years’ experience in the post-production industry, Buick has been a producer with Heckler for two years. During this time she has worked on award winning projects including Tiger Beer’s ‘Wok’ and ‘ArtBreaks’ for the ABC.

Prior to her role at Heckler, Buick earned her stripes as a producer at post-production companies in both Brisbane and Sydney, first working across facilities and marketing, and then later taking on senior producing positions.

Heckler executive producer Bonnie Law (above, right) said Aborah has brought an insatiable energy and enthusiasm to the team since joining and is extremely knowledgeable and passionate about the post production industry.

“We’re absolutely thrilled about her move into this position,” she said.

Commenting on her new role, Buick said she is looking forward to steering the growth of the Heckler’s stable of animation and VFX artists, whilst continuing to be a driving force behind the overall progression of the post house.

“I’m excited about the next stage of Heckler as the company enters six years of operation in the local market,” she said.

“What originally drew me to Heckler was the concept of working in a boutique environment with a team totally focused on creativity. It’s a proactive and energetic place to call home.”
