Havas Media Wins Sydney Water

Havas Media has won Sydney Water’s media account, joining several other Havas Village agencies which already work with the government account.

Host won the creative account for Sydney Water in 2011, while One Green Bean handles Sydney Water’s social and PR.

In a statement from Sydney Water, a spokesperson said: “I can confirm that we’ve worked with Host for about seven years and since the recent merger of Host/Havas we are working with the entire Village including Host/Havas, Havas Media, and One Green Bean (social and PR).

Adding: “Sydney Water has always worked closely with communities across Greater Sydney to raise awareness of everyday behaviours affecting the supply and treatment of water and wastewater.

“Working with Havas Media allows us to extend our grassroots activities to broader behavioural change campaigns, especially as the current drought increases the need for all people understand that water is our most precious resource.

“Love water, don’t waste it.”

This is the second win for Havas this week, as the agency was handed the global media account of sportswear brand Puma.
