GPY&R Melbourne Appoints Sheridan Wadelton To Head of Broadcast and Content

Sheridan Wadelton has returned to GPY&R Melbourne as head of Broadcast and Content. Having previously worked at GPY&R from 2007 to 2014, Wadelton was responsible for much of the agency’s best productions across brands including Defence Force Recruiting, Medibank, AGL, AFL and Schweppes.

Most recently Wadelton has been managing Nice Bike, arguably the nimblest and most adaptable production company in Melbourne.

“I’m very excited to be able to head up the production department of such an iconic Australian agency. Knowing that the agency has a real focus on creative quality, which is balanced with a brilliant, inclusive culture, made the decision a no-brainer. In a way, it feels like I’m returning home,” said Sheridan Wadleton, Head of Broadcast and Content, GPY&R.

“Sheri is the ultimate modern production leader. She excels at producing those ‘indefinable ideas’ that are the hallmark of the agency, requiring multiple production disciplines and solutions. Her experience on both sides of the production fence means she can move quickly, collaborates well, solves and shares. Add to that her experience in content delivery and you can see why we’re so thrilled to have her back,” said Julian Bell, Managing Partner, GPY&R Melbourne.

GPY&R Melbourne is part of WPP AUNZ, Australasia’s leading marketing content and communications group.
