Foxtel’s Dillon Hicks Joins The Pulse As Head Of Production

Sydney-based agency The Pulse has announced the appointment of Dillon Hicks to the newly created role of head of production.

Formerly head of production at Foxtel, Hicks was a founding member of the senior leadership group at the Australian pay TV giant’s full-service creative production hub, Felix.

In his new role, Hicks will lead The Pulse’s team of developers, 3D artists, motion designers, creatives and producers to deliver cutting-edge communication across education, corporate training, health and entertainment.

Michelle Schuberg, general manager of The Pulse, said Hicks will play a key role in the agency’s continued growth.

“Since taking over as GM earlier this year, the breadth of opportunities for technology to push the boundaries of creative communication has continued to astound me,” she said.

“To be able to attract a world-class talent like Dillon is testament to the great team we have here and the exciting future ahead.”

Commenting on his appointment, Hicks said he’s excited to look at storytelling in a different way.

“One of the key things that brought me to The Pulse was the ability to explore and push the boundaries of storytelling in the mixed reality space in particular,” he said.

“I’m convinced this role puts me at the very forefront of global creativity.”
