Former Head Of OMD Fuse To Now Fire Up Red Engine

Digital agency and content marketing shop Red Engine SCC has appointed senior marketing specialist, Joanne Liddell, as its new Client Services Director.

Liddell will be responsible for heading up client services across all Red Engine SCC accounts, in addition to building the existing professional team and other business development areas.

The former head of OMD Fuse Sydney; Liddell has over 15 years experience across the content marketing and media space in a number of respected agency and in-house roles, and has worked with a vast number of major international and local brands such as McDonald’s, Xbox, Clinique, V Energy Drink, Unilever and Tourism Australia.

“It’s exciting times at Red Engine. I’ve been following their journey of late and they’re most certainly an agency to watch, so I was really excited to start conversations with them and then accept this new position,” says Liddell.

“I was also attracted to the role because of its two principals, Julian Townley and Kate Richardson. I had previously worked alongside them in the past and thought they were really smart operators,” she continues.

According to Managing Director, Julian Townley, the new appointment comes at a pivotal time for the agency and will see Liddell lend her solid client management and relationship skills to Red Engine’s growing portfolio.

“We’re thrilled to have Joanne on board. She brings extensive experience in the content marketing space, our core service offering; and will be integral to the agency operations as we continue building. It’s also very exciting for us to bring such a high quality operator into the team, particularly at a time when we’re experiencing significant growth,” says Townley.

“Red Engine has a number of significant new client wins we’ll be announcing over the coming weeks, and so having Joanne in a leadership role will enable us to ensure we can continue to improve the quality of our client services and really take the business to the next level.”
