Flourish PR Rebrands And Offers New Services

Melbourne-based independent creative communications agency, Flourish PR, has had a complete brand revamp following an expansion of service offerings whilst celebrating a string of new business wins.

Headed up by former National PR Manager at Sony Music Entertainment, Angela Ceberano, the agency has extended its services with a new digital, social and content arm and a new membership-based platform to support local and small businesses with getting their messages heard.

The new brand and website was developed by Collingwood based creative agency, Yoke.

“We worked very closely with Yoke’s Creative Director, Richie Meldrum who was an absolute delight to work with. Richie and the team at Yoke have done a superb job of our re-brand,” said Ceberano.

“The new brand mark, website and visual identity are bold yet elegant and stylish. Our tag line, ‘really saying something’ sums it up perfectly. The custom font used for the statement is actually a replica of my handwriting, which is a nice reminder that we must always take the time to handcraft our work. We are proudly and passionately new school but we are also a brand that loves oldfashioned values,” she said.

With the new brand has come an extension of services and additional team members. Flourish now offers social media, community management, business strategy, creative services, communication related workshops and personal branding. Flourish has also just announced ‘Flourish Your Way’ which is a platform for start-ups and small businesses who want PR support, but can’t afford a fulltime agency.

Ceberano explains that ‘Public Relations’ has been dropped from the new brand and logo.

“Traditional PR is where we started, but the lines of where PR starts and ends is very blurry nowadays – and that’s a good thing – as it allows us to be more involved with our clients and more accountable. We are no longer ‘just’ PR. We are a creative communications agency who understands business. We are passionate about exchanging stories, expressing ideas and sharing conversations,” she said.

In the last month the agency has added Noosa Food and Wine Festival, Gabriel Cares, The Art Cabriolet and Doxa Youth Foundation to its client roster. Flourish works with a wide range of B2C and B2B clients including Luna Park, Guy Sebastian, Olivia Newton John Cancer and Wellness Centre, Freshmax, Schweigen, Softball Australia and Elite Caravans.

As a result of the company expansion and new business wins, Flourish has grown its team appointing Phil Ceberano as Creative Director. Phil boasts 30 years of experience in show business and entertainment and will lead the creative arm of the business.

The agency has also hired former Australia Post Communications Advisor, Jackie Smiles as Senior Account Manager and former Gold Coast Magazine journalist Madeleine Gleeson as Social Media and Content Manager.

Flourish has also relocated from Queens Road into a double warehouse in Melbourne’s creative hub of Collingwood. The rebrand, new services, office relocation & website launch coincides with the agency’s seventh anniversary.
