Facebook has announced new communications feature for Pages, making it easier for people and businesses to connect through private messaging.
Here are some ways that these new tools will enhance messaging between people and businesses:
- Send private messages to a Page from local awareness ads: Makes it easy for people to start a private message conversation with businesses directly from an ad.
- Reply to comments privately with a message: Allows Page admins to address customer requests on their Page more effectively. In the coming weeks, Page admins will be able to reply to public comments with a private message, helping them solve private customer requests more efficiently.
- Identify responsive Pages: Shows which Pages are highly responsive to customer messages through a rating badge displayed on the business’s profile. Pages that respond to 90% of messages and have a median response time of less than five minutes will now have a “Very responsive to messages” badge on their profiles.
- Manage messages: New tools for Page admins to respond faster and track messages more efficiently.To help Page admins respond faster to incoming messages, they can now create and save responses to common questions. Page admins can pull up saved replies and send them in one tap, making it faster and easier to respond to customers from mobile devices. Page admins also have the option to edit saved responses before they send them.
