Ex-Studio 10 Producer Settles Legal Case Over Dismissal From The Network

Former Studio 10 executive producer Rob McKnight has reportedly settled his pay dispute with Network Ten.

The highly respected McKnight was abruptly terminated by Ten in late 2017 with no explanation given to why he’d been shown the door.

At the time, McKnight threatened the network with legal action for unfair dismissal and not honouring his employment contract that included 13 weeks’ termination pay.

In February, he joined News Corp as its head of video.

Last Friday, McKnight tweeted that the court case had been settled and that he “might return to TV one day” but was “loving” his time at News.

According to media reports the case was due in court on November 1, however, both parties agreed to settle before the court date.
