EPL’s Hull City Bagged For Cringeworthy Use Of Ad Boards

English Premier League soccer team Hull City has tried and seemingly failed to create an atmosphere at their most recent home game against Stoke using the stadium’s advertising boards.

According to ESPN FC, the club used the ad boards at KCOM Stadium to display the lyrics to chants and songs for the fans to sing along to.

“Just when you thought that Hull City’s contentious owners had run out of ways to fuel the discord between themselves and their supporters, they go and devise a novel new approach to fan the flames,” ESPN FC wrote.

“Of course, this kind of thing doesn’t tend to go down well with British fans, who don’t enjoy being told what to sing and when.”

Providing the lyrics to Hull City fans didn’t seem to inspire the club either, going down 2-0 to Stoke.
