Emotive Whips Out Extra Creative With Hire Of Creative Director

Independent content marketing business Emotive has announced the expansion of its creative team with the appointment of Mark Harris as creative director, based in London.

Harris’s role will have a dual focus including working closely with ECD Charlie Leahy in Sydney on Emotive’s expanding portfolio of clients whilst also establishing Emotive’s presence in the UK.

Harris is an award winning creative director with over 20 years experience in advertising and marketing. From running his own storyboard company to directing and filming over 40 commercials. He has worked with some of the biggest global brands including Adidas, Playstation, HP, Microsoft and Fox Sports. In 2006, he became a partner at Brothers and Sisters, and was fundamental in establishing it as one of London’s top creative agencies.

On joining Emotive, Harris said: “Emotive are an incredibly dynamic content business at a very exciting time for brands. They are genuinely leading the content marketing revolution and their ability to own every step of the process from creation through to amplification is what sets them apart for me. The opportunity to join, grow the team and develop work that entertains a brands audience was what excited me so much about the role and felt like the absolute right combination.”

This appointment highlights the rapid growth and success of Emotive since its launch in Australia earlier this year. Simon Joyce, founder and CEO of Emotive commented: “Emotive was established with a dynamic team structure based on tapping into the best talent wherever they maybe. Mark’s creative pedigree is first class and adds a layer of international thinking and insight to our creative content solutions in Sydney, whilst allowing Emotive to commence international expansion. The business has amazing momentum and Mark’s appointment is a great reflection of that.”
