Em Rusciano & Harley Breen Replace Rove & Sam (Again) On The Hit Network

Southern Cross Austereo has announced that 2Day FM’s breakfast show, Em Rusciano with Harley Breen, will take over the weeknight timeslot of 7pm to 8pm across The Hit Network nationally.

Rusciano and Breen (pictured above), who have struggled in the radio ratings since being handed the poisoned chalice that is 2DayFM’s brekkie slot from Rove McManus and Sam Frost, begin their national weeknight gig – which was also occupied by McManus and Frost until Friday 30 June  – tonight on The Hit Network’s 43 metro and regional stations.

Gemma Fordham, head of content at The Hit Network, said: “Our listeners tell us they connect with, and relate to, Em. Her candour and the way she tells a story with such heart and humour is resonating with them.

“Listeners from outside Sydney have told us they too want to be able to listen to the show.  We are thrilled to be able to answer that call and continue to build on Em and Harley’s super engaged community across the country.”
