Edge Invests In Digital Services Agency Built.Digital

Creative agency Edge has boosted its tech innovation capability by investing in burgeoning digital services agency Built.Digital.

After having shared office space for a number of months, and collaborating on recent projects, Edge formalised the relationship, further demonstrating the crucial role of  digital innovation in the continually evolving content marketing space.

Emerging from its foundation as a custom publisher ten years ago, Edge has secured its place in the Australian marketing services landscape as a full service digital content agency with strategic, creative, production and paid amplification capabilities. The new relationship with Built adds further digital expertise.

Edge joint managing partner Fergus Stoddart said: “Edge has recognised the crucial role of both data and tech innovation in delivering fantastic content to consumers when, where and how they want it. Using data and tech to understand context and increase relevance is absolutely key to taking content marketing to the next level. The Built.Digital relationship allows us to to do just that, and to extend our skill-set beyond content as an agency.

Built managing director Alex Tassone said: “This partnership offers a great deal of opportunity for both Built.Digital  and Edge. We have seen consistent growth over the past two years and joining the Edge stable helps to accelerate that growth – enabling us to work on bigger projects, with really smart people, while also buying us the time and space to focus on some really innovative labs work. It’s hugely exciting.

“Together, we will provide a seamless integrated offering, with Edge driving the strategy, content and creative while we work through the optimal user experience and the technology to enable it.”

The investment see’s the greater Edge team grow even further across Sydney and Melbourne, and with recent wins including Petbarn and the Hunter Valley Wine and Tourism Association, as well as a scheduled move into the creative hub of Surry Hills in Sydney, Edge is primed for aggressive growth moving into the new financial year.
