Correction: Michael Buckley

Last Wednesday, B&T broke the story that Accenture Interactive CEO Michael Buckley had been terminated from his role as CEO.

B&T checked our facts from a number of sources and believed our reporting was correct at the time of publishing.

Accenture Interactive has since informed us that the claim was incorrect, however, did confirm Mr Buckley’s departure from the business.

In a one sentence statement to B&T, an Accenture spokesperson said: “The assertion that Michael Buckley was fired from Accenture is factually incorrect.”

B&T unreservedly apologises to Mr Buckley for any hurt the initial report may have caused.
