We Communications Announces Global Leadership Changes

WE Communications has announced leadership moves that will enhance its ability to deliver an expanded set of client services around the globe.

The agency is elevating several senior leaders to drive even deeper connections across geographies, capabilities, and sectors to meet the needs of its expanding portfolio of multi-market clients.

WE Communications CEO Melissa Waggener Zorkin said: “WE has reached an exciting inflection point in our business – through the addition of new client partnerships, the growth of our sectors and recent acquisitions.

“It is an opportune time to make strategic changes to our global leadership team, which will enable us to better serve our clients worldwide”.

Moving forward, Kass Sells and Dawn Beauparlant will take on new leadership positions.

Sells will assume a new role as the agency’s global chief operating officer/president of international, and Beauparlant will add president of North America to her current responsibilities as chief client officer.

President of international Alan VanderMolen is leaving the agency to pursue other opportunities and will transition over the coming weeks.

As global COO/president of international, Sells will oversee the agency’s EMEA and APAC regions, the continued global development of WE’s integrated services and insights & analytics efforts, along with global marketing, PLUS and WE company partners, including recently acquired WE Codeword.

As CCO/president of North America, Beauparlant’s expanded remit will include oversight of WE’s North America sectors of consumer, health and technology, as well as regional business development.

WE Red Bridge CEO Penny Burgess, AvianWE Group CEO Nitin Mantri, WE Buchan CEO Rebecca Wilson, and WATATAWA managing partner Simon Pangrazio will also take on expanded responsibilities, helping to develop strategies for increased cross-region and cross-agency collaboration, working closing with Sells and Beauparlant to deliver even greater impact for multi-market clients.

Michael Murphy will continue in his role as an international adviser.
