Carat has lifted Nine’s Origin of Agency trophy for a third year in a row, after downing Blue 449 in the final at North Sydney Oval yesterday.

The event attracted over 250 participants representing a number of media agencies, including GroupM, Mediacom, UM, Ikon, Dentsu, PHD, Carat, IPG Mediabrands, OMD, Publicis Media, Starcom, Zenith, Blue449, MediaMerchants, along with an Indies team.

Carat were the overall victors on the day, defeating Blue 449 in the final 3-0.

There is no truth to rumours it hired professional NRL players to sub in for their team, according to Nine.

You can check out all the photos from the event in the gallery above.

The tournament acted as a curtain-raiser for Nine’s launch of the 2017 NRL State of Origin series.
