Caitlyn Jenner’s ‘I Am Cait’ Premieres To Twitter Applause And Hugs All Round

The reality ‘docu-series’ starring Caitlyn Jenner has made a strong debut in the US, with an estimated three million people watching the program and a positive twitter response. It also had a healthy response in Australia.

The I Am Cait premiere included a Kanye West appearance; name-dropping of big name fashion designers including Tom Ford, Diane Von Furstenberg; a discussion about suicide and trans-issues; a game of tennis and lots of tears.

According to Neilsen’s ratings, I Am Cait averaged a 2.1 household rating, meaning an estimated three million US viewers tuned in to watch the program.
