Bus Hilariously Ruins Live Stream Of Olympic Stadium Demolition, Leaves Film Crew Fuming

You may have already seen this on your social media feeds, but B&T thought it was so funny that we had to give it a run.

Earlier this week, The Weather Channel in the US had set up cameras across the road from where the demolition of the Atlanta 1996 Olympics stadium was about to take place, with the promise of live streaming the historic event.

However, just as the stadium begins to crumble, along comes a bus, pulling up in front of the camera and pretty much completely blocking the view of the demolition – which only took 15 seconds – before driving away again.

Understandably, the live stream also caught the film crew cursing profusely.

Here’s the video, in all its hilarity…

A spokeswoman for the bus company responsible didn’t even initially offer an apology.

“Given the potential dangers of bringing down the largest structure of its kind… if this is the biggest story, we’re really glad about that,” MARTA’s Goldie Taylor told the Atlanta Journal-Constitution.

However, she later said sorry via Twitter in a joking sort of way.
