Bumble Launches Influencer-Led Campaign

Bumble has today launched a new social campaign featuring sixty Australian digital influencers.

Running for thirty days the campaign will see two influencers post each day about why they have chosen to partner with Bumble, focusing on the brand’s key values of kindness, empowerment, inclusivity, positivity, accountability and equality.

The campaign will utilise the hashtag #imwithbumble.

Bumble Bizz ambassador Laura Henshaw, co-founder of online fitness program Keep It Cleaner, has kicked off the campaign with a post referencing Bumble’s global mission to promote equality and put an end to gender bias, economic inequality, sexual assault, harassment and hate speech.

Other influencers featured in the campaign include Bumble BFF ambassador and TV presenter, Georgia Love, stylist to the stars Lana Wilkinson, the other half of Keep It Cleaner, Steph Claire Smith, models Brooke Hogan and Jadé Tuncdoruk, entrepreneur and men’s fashion expert Shaun Birley, swimwear designer Michaela Wain and former Love Island contestant, Teddy Briggs.

Bumble is the brainchild of entrepreneur Whitney Wolfe-Herd, who founded the business out of a desire to change the way people communicate and to encourage respectful relationships.

Whitney was recently named number nine on Fortune’s annual 40 Under 40 list, which ranks the most influential young people in business.

Bumble country lead for Australia Michelle Battersby said: “At Bumble, our mission is to create an empowered and modern way to facilitate genuine connections for our users – whether they are looking for love, friendship or professional opportunities.

“Our core values of kindness, respect and empowerment are at the core of everything we do, and we are delighted to be launching the I’m With Bumble campaign with some of Australia’s leading influencers to spread our message even further.”

Bumble is the first app of its kind to bring dating, friend-finding, and career-building to a single platform via Bumble Date, Bumble BFF and Bumble Bizz.

As the fastest growing dating app in the US, Bumble has amassed nearly 40 million users globally, resulting in over 650 million women-led first moves, and over 1 billion messages sent.

Australia is one of the largest and fastest growing regions for Bumble, with over 1 million registered users.

Australian women have made the first move on Bumble over 21 million times, with over 47 million connections facilitated.
