Bohemia Poaches Sam Westaway From Rival Vizeum For Media Directing Role

M&C Saatchi Group-owned media agency Bohemia has announced the appointment of Sam Westaway to the role of media director for Melbourne.

Westaway joins Bohemia from Vizeum, where he was a member of its leadership team. Prior to this, Westaway was held the role of client service director at Cornwell, national strategy director at Austereo and group communications director at Clemenger.

Bohemia CEO Brett Dawson said Westaway’s appointment was critical for the agency.

“We were looking for local talent with a passion and expertise in the craft of media and experience in both media and creative agencies,” he said.

“In Sam we found it all, complete with the entrepreneurial spirit that make Bohemians tick. His remit is to take the spirit and capability of Bohemia to Melbourne, adding the required local ingredients to meet local client growth ambitions.”

Commenting on his appointment, Westaway said: “It was the Bohemia culture, leadership and independence that I was immediately attracted to. I am looking forward to working with our Melbourne clients and driving genuine business outcomes.”
