Blue 499 Wins Southern Cross Travel Insurance Account

Following a competitive three-way pitch Blue 449 has won the Southern Cross Travel Insurance (SCTI) account. Blue 449’s remit will include all media strategy, planning and buying with a focus on performance and digital activity for the business.

SCTI operate in the highly competitive travel insurance category and as one of Australia and New Zealand’s leading insurers have always been innovative in their approach, with data and analytics at the core of their business.

Craig Morrison, chief executive officer of SCTI said of the appointment, “We were impressed by the team at Blue 449 throughout the whole process. Their expertise and knowledge around data and analytics, combined with their best in class media capabilities were clearly market leading. They share our ambition for the brand and will help us unlock new directions and streamline our digital capabilities.”

This is the second win for Blue 449 in as many months, having been appointed to Royal Caribbean Cruises Ltd in January.

The appointment is effective immediately.
