2015 will be a big one for cinema advertising, according to Val Morgan, with a quality line up of blockbusters set to hit the big screen next year.

Keep your eyes peeled for these releases next year: Star Wars: Episode VII, Bond 24, The Hunger Games: Mockingjay Parts 1 & 2, Fifty Shades of Grey, The Hobbit: The Battle of Five Armies, Jurassic World, Mad Max: Fury Road, Fast & Furious 7, Avengers: Age of Ultron, Terminator: Genisys, Ted 2, The Minions, Penguins of Madagascar, Kung Fu Panda 3 and Mission Impossible 5.

Val Morgan Cinema network managing director, Daniel Hill, hailed 2015 as ‘the year of the franchise’, with major franchise blockbuster titles scheduled for release.

Hill signaled the introduction of a mobile-based, second screen cinema opportunity for brands. The development will provide an extension and enhancement to on-screen advertising. Advertisers will be able to extend campaigns and connect more deeply with consumers via interactivity within foyer, within the cinema pre-show and via push messages post the movie experience.
