Bastion Reputation Management Makes Key Promotions And A New Hire

Bastion Reputation Management, Bastion Collective’s strategic communications and corporate affairs firm, has supported its continued growth with two key promotions and the appointment of a new team member.

Butler has more than seven years’ experience working in communications in the Government, not-for-profit and private sectors and has been working as an account manager at Bastion RM since 2016.

Andersen, who joined RM in 2018, has more than 10 years working in strategic internal and external communications and change management as well as experience working in branding, marketing and advertising.

Bastion RM specialises in five key practice areas including strategic corporate positioning, risk, issues and crisis management, media training and capability, media strategy and content and corporate strategic campaigns.

The team has years of experience across a range of sectors including education, government, sport and financial services.

Under the newly created role of group client director Andersen will be steering our Strategic Campaigns and Corporate Positioning practices.

Anna Butler will be group client director covering Risk, Issues and Crisis, Media Strategy and Content and Training and Capability practice areas.

Bastion Reputation Management general manager Clare Gleghorn said the new roles were not only a reflection of the pair’s quality of work and commitment to the business, but also the evolution of RM over recent years.

Gleghorn commented: “We started out as a team of three in 2015, now with 15 employees we have room to grow and structure the business in a way that offers opportunities for everyone to develop their skills in different areas and take on more senior roles.”

Bastion RM is also excited to have Jesse Ward joining the team.

Ward previously worked for a communications agency based in Vietnam where he advised across education, corporate and consumer clients, helping them position and launch their brand across South East Asia.

Gleghorn added: “We’re thrilled to have Jesse join us, bringing with him insight and experience that will be invaluable to the team at Bastion Reputation Management.”
