The Bachelor Embroiled In Latest Meme Lesbian Stink

Never far from a spot of controversy, Ten’s The Bachelor is again attracting flak this time over a distasteful meme that suggested one of the female contestants was a lesbian and had been turned “straight” by bachelor, Nick Cummins.

Yesterday, Cummins’ brother, Jacob, posted the meme to Instagram that inferred that one of the show’s contestants, Brooke Blurton, had been “turned straight” by his brother during this year’s series.

The offending meme shows Bachelor 2016 couple Richie Strahan and Alex Nation, as well as an image of Nation and her ex-fiancée Maegan Luxa kissing.

It’s followed by an image of ‘The Honey Badger’ and an on-set picture of him dressed as a fireman and hugging Blurton. The meme runs with the caption: “Richie turns them gay, Honey Badger turns them straight.”

Blurton has admitted on the show that she has been in relationships with women, however, does not describe herself as lesbian or bisexual.

Jacob Cummins even even made a brief appearance on the show last month during a group date episode featuring a number of members of the Cummins family.

B&T has contacted Ten for comment on the offending image.
